Who We Are

Cash For Cars BC is a locally owned and operated vehicle removal service covering Greater Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, and surrounding BC communities. We started with a straightforward goal: make selling an old, damaged, or unwanted vehicle in British Columbia as simple and transparent as possible. We know how ICBC vehicle transfers work, we know the Lower Mainland, and we handle every step — from the phone quote to the on-site paperwork — without surprises.

How We Quote and What We Pay

We quote every vehicle based on the same factors any honest buyer uses: make, model, year, weight, condition, and current scrap metal market prices. We explain the reasoning behind every number we give, and we don't change it when the driver arrives. If something you describe turns out to be different in person and it affects the offer, we tell you before loading the vehicle — not after. The cash you're offered on the phone is the cash you receive at pickup.

Our Service Area and Local Knowledge

We operate across 36 communities from Whistler to Chilliwack, Bowen Island to Abbotsford. We know the terrain — underground parkades in Brentwood, steep hillside driveways in West Vancouver and Mission, agricultural lots in Langley, strata complexes throughout Metro Vancouver. That local knowledge means we arrive prepared, we don't add surcharges for challenging access, and we don't cancel pickups because the location is inconvenient.

Environmentally Responsible Vehicle Recycling

Every vehicle we purchase goes through a licensed BC auto recycler that meets provincial Environmental Management Act standards. Fluids — engine oil, coolant, transmission fluid, brake fluid, refrigerants — are drained and disposed of according to regulation. Usable parts are removed for the used-parts market before the remaining steel and aluminum is processed as certified scrap metal. Less than 5% of a properly handled end-of-life vehicle ends up in landfill. We apply this standard to every vehicle, regardless of condition.
